The InfraGard Albany Chapter is hosting an webinar sharing information about how the Community can interact with the FBI and the FBI with the Community. One aspect that will be covered is that of the FBI Citizens Academy. At- tending this Academy is a great way to become much more aware of the FBI and how it is vital to our Nation! This session will be of benefit to all audiences, technical and non-technical, leadership or practitioners.

Sarah Ruane, Public Affairs Specialist, Albany Field Office, FBI
Public Affairs Specialist Sarah Ruane joined the FBI in 2018, following a 12-year career in the Albany media market. As Assignment Manager at Spectrum News, Sarah was responsible for the coordination of daily news coverage, to include setting up stories for reporters, delegating live resources to crews, and throwing all plans out the window when breaking news occurred. That experience serves in helping her place impactful stories about the FBI through- out the six media markets within the field office territory (Albany, Utica, Syracuse, Binghamton, Watertown, and Plattsburgh/Burlington).

Jeff Wilson, Secretary, InfraGard Albany,
Jeff Wilson serves on the Board of the InfraGard Albany helping to lead the organization. Jeff works in the cybersecurity space and volunteers to help fulfill the mission of the InfraGard. Mr. Wilson has also attended the FBI Citizens Academy and many other InfraGard educational events.
